Woody
Yep, that’s my real name — inspired by a newspaper headline my mum spotted right after I was born. True story!
Before photography, I took the traditional route — Ateneo High, IT at San Beda, graduate studies at La Salle, and 15 years in the BPO world. Then somewhere around 2010 or 2011 (memory’s blurry!), photography found me. I shot weddings part-time in 2012, went full-time in 2016, and never looked back.
Why events? Because people are fascinating.
Weddings and events bring out the best in people — real emotions, genuine connections, laughter, tears, and stories worth remembering. It’s one of the few places where barriers disappear and everyone simply celebrates love, family, and friendship.

Years behind the camera taught me that photography is more than fancy poses and perfect portraits. For me, it’s about telling the story as it truly unfolded — the real smiles, genuine laughter, and heartfelt moments in between. Candids may not always be the “perfect” shots of the day, but they are often the ones that bring back the biggest smiles, the loudest laughs, and the sweetest memories years later.
